The Garden of Eden collection designed by India Mahdavi for Golran takes its inspiration from the classical Persian garden, drawing on a tradition and culture that link the label’s historic roots and the designer’s origins.
The carpet’s pattern features a leaf- like motif that, through a vivid and dynamic composition, seems to dance in a gust of wind. India Mahdavi has conceived of two different models: the first is in the classic rectangular format with central decorative motif, the second features a freer design that breaks the borders of the traditional carpet shape, expanding to fill the perimeter and conferring a jagged, zigzag form to it.
